Dear Willett Families,

We are thrilled to share that our school year is now in full swing, and Kindergarten students have joined us as of Wednesday, September 10th. We are so excited to welcome our youngest learners to the Willett community!

When you visit the school, we invite you to stay in the lobby area. Although the kindergarten classrooms are just a few steps away, this helps us make sure our students can focus on learning without interruptions. We appreciate your understanding and support!

Mark your calendars for Welcome Back Night on Thursday, September 25th from 5:30–7:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, explore classrooms, and reconnect with our school community.

Please take a moment to read the flyers below about our upcoming PTO Fundraiser, the APEX Obstacle Course Run. It’s going to be a fun and exciting way to support our school while keeping our students active.

We are pleased to introduce Stanley, our therapy dog. Stanley is here to provide comfort and support to our students and staff, helping to create a calm and positive environment for everyone.

Finally, please read the information below about our new math program, iReady.

We are so excited for a fantastic school year ahead and look forward to seeing you at our events!

Attleboro Families:

Attleboro High School greatly appreciates the support of families at all AHS sporting events.  While most students are there to watch the games and enjoy the event, a number of students have been left/dropped off unsupervised. This has created safety concerns and disruptions for other fans in attendance.

ALL middle school aged students and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult at all high school events.  We appreciate your support keeping all in attendance supervised while allowing an enjoyable environment for all.

Please know this expectation is currently in place for AHS events moving forward.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

MA Mandated Screenings

All health screenings conducted in school are required by Massachusetts Law. Screenings are ongoing throughout the school year. Parents and legal guardians shall be provided with an opportunity to request, in writing, that their child not participate in the program. This request must be written each year and be specific to which screening you do not wish your child to participate.

Elementary Screenings are as follow:

Vision Screening
Vision screening is conducted for all grades K – 4. Parents are notified if the student does not pass for referral to their physician for follow-up.

Hearing Screening
Hearing screening is conducted for all grades K - 3. Parents are notified if the student does not pass for referral to their physician for follow-up.

Growth Development Screening
Growth screening is conducted for students in grades 1 and 4. Heights and weights are measured and calculated into BMI or Body Mass Index.

  • Vision Screening for Kindergarten students will be on September 25th.

  • The Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Dentist will be coming to Willett on September 30th. If you have signed consent for your child to be seen, please make sure they are in school that day. There is still time for you to sign consent, please notify the office if you need a form sent home.
