👉 Willett Conferences 2025

Please note: If you already signed up for a conference during Welcome Back Night, your time slot has been transferred to your child's class page so there is no need to sign up again.

We value this time to connect with you, share updates on your child’s progress, and collaborate to support their learning and growth.

If you need help accessing the sign-up or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

In accordance with School Committee Policy as found on pages 37 and 38 of the elementary student handbook, Smart Watches are not allowed in school.

"Electronic Device Use/ Cell Phone Use/ Smart Watch/ Capturing Photo and Video Images/ Laptops

Students are not allowed to capture photos, voice recordings, or video images of any person(s) in the school building at any time. This includes film and digital cameras, laptops, the video component of a video phone, photo, or video recorders, or through the use of any other technology used to capture photos or record video images. Exceptions can be made for students fulfilling the requirements of an activity assigned by a teacher. 37 The secret use of sound or videotaping devices is illegal (MA General Law Chapter 272 section 99). Videotaping or sound recording a class or individual without the permission of everyone involved is a criminal offense with severe penalties. Students engaging in such activities will be subject to disciplinary action. The inappropriate use of a video or picture cell phone is prohibited at all times; and may also be subject to the Cyber Harassment Policy."

Fall Festival Basket Donations

We’re excited to celebrate the upcoming Fall Festival on Friday, November 1! As part of the fun, we are collecting donations for each class’s themed basket. Families should have recently received information from the classroom teacher about their child’s specific class theme.

Donations can be anything related to the theme—even small items are greatly appreciated—as everything will be combined to create one fantastic basket. It’s a team effort, and every contribution helps!

Donations can be sent to school with your child or dropped off at the main office. If dropping off at the main office, please be sure to clearly label the donation with your child’s first and last name so we can ensure it goes to the correct basket. Small cash donations are also welcome to help purchase basket items.

All donations are completely voluntary and are accepted through Friday, October 24.

Thank you for your support in making the Fall Festival a success!

Attleboro Reads

Be on the lookout for the Attleboro Public Library Community Read Passport coming home in your child’s backpack. Students can use these passports to collect stamps at the various community reading events held throughout the school year. Once the passports are filled, they can bring them to school or to the public library to receive special recognition at the summer reading kick-off in June.  All events will be listed on the calendar at attleborolibrary.org. The first event is on Monday, Oct 20 @6:30 pm at the Attleboro Public Library.

All health screenings conducted in school are required by Massachusetts Law. Screenings are ongoing throughout the school year. Parents and legal guardians shall be provided with an opportunity to request, in writing, that their child not participate in the program. This request must be written each year and be specific to which screening you do not wish your child to participate.

Elementary Screenings are as follow:

Vision Screening
Vision screening is conducted for all grades K – 4. Parents are notified if the student does not pass for referral to their physician for follow-up.

Hearing Screening
Hearing screening is conducted for all grades K - 3. Parents are notified if the student does not pass for referral to their physician for follow-up.

Growth Development Screening
Growth screening is conducted for students in grades 1 and 4. Heights and weights are measured and calculated into BMI or Body Mass Index.

WES PTO

Dear Willett Families,

I’m thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible support, our Apex Obstacle Course fundraiser surpassed our goal by more than 45%!

Because of you, the PTO will fully cover field trip transportation for every grade this year and also contribute to classroom resources and school-wide programs that benefit all Willett students.

Thank you for:

  • sharing your students’ pages with family and friends,

  • making pledges of every size,

  • cheering on our Whalers at the Obstacle Course, and

  • encouraging our kids to be the best versions of themselves.

Your enthusiasm and generosity made this our most successful fundraiser yet—and a day our students will never forget.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Ashleigh Bachand
Fundraising Coordinator, Willett Elementary PTO
