Willett Families,

Welcome Back! We hope everyone enjoyed the break. The days are getting longer, but we are still facing cold temperatures through the month of March. Please remember to dress students to account for these days as we do go outside for recess if the feels like temperature is 25 degrees or higher.

We are respectfully requesting again that changes in dismissal be done early in the day. Our preferred method is a note sent in with your child. If an email needs to be sent, please do so prior to 11:30 AM and include Mrs. Rebelo or Ms. Van Den Berghe.

On Thursday, March 6 at 6:00 PM, we will be hosting a Kindergarten Information Night regarding registration for any students/families who will be registering for kindergarten for next year (2025-2026). If you or someone you know has an incoming Kindergartener, please share this event. More details can be found below.

Grades 3 and 4 will be participating in MCAS in April and May (see below). Please do everything you can to ensure the students are present on those days.

Enjoy the weekend,

Mr. Jeffrey Cateon, Principal

Spirit Days 2025

As the weather gets colder, children are now wearing jackets and coats to school. We kindly ask that you practice with them at home to help them learn how to put on their coats independently. Below is a short video demonstrating a simple trick that can help even the youngest students manage on their own. This will help ensure we can get outside for recess on time. It’s also a great opportunity to practice putting on mittens and hats. Thank you for your support!

Be on the lookout for the Attleboro Public Library Community Read Passport coming home in your child’s backpack. Students can use these passports to collect stamps at the various community reading events held throughout the school year. Once the passports are filled, they can bring them to school or to the public library to receive special recognition at the summer reading kick-off in June.  All events will be listed on the calendar at attleborolibrary.org.
