Dear Willett Families,

Next week marks the end of the APS Annual Food Drive. Please continue to send in non-perishable food items to help those in need. Hebron will be here next Friday, December 13th.

Please join us on Thursday, December 12th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM for the Deck the Halls/Music Bingo Night. There are details and instructions below.

Deck the Halls

The hallways at Willett will be decorated in different themes. You will be following a pathway and walking through the school while admiring the work done by staff and students.  Please do not go in a different direction than you are supposed to. Please keep your children with you at all times. Please remind your children to be respectful and not touch any items. Enjoy the hard work and beauty created by many wonderful Willett friends! When you are done viewing the hallways, you may enjoy some treats and videos in the gymnasium.

Music Bingo

There are two sessions of Music Bingo. One will begin at 6:00 PM and one will begin at 6:30 PM. It is free to play, but we do have limited seating. There will be 100 tickets per show. We will be giving out the tickets at the main door on a first come, first served basis for each session.  You will need your ticket to attend, so please make sure you get a ticket at the front door if you wish to play Bingo. If you are waiting for the 6:30 Bingo, you may wait in the gymnasium.

As the weather gets colder, children are now wearing jackets and coats to school. We kindly ask that you practice with them at home to help them learn how to put on their coats independently. Below is a short video demonstrating a simple trick that can help even the youngest students manage on their own. This will help ensure we can get outside for recess on time. It’s also a great opportunity to practice putting on mittens and hats. Thank you for your support!

Willett Community Contact Information

📢 Attention Willett Families! 📢

We're excited to announce that the Willett PTO is putting together an all-school directory to help connect parents and caregivers of our students. This directory will be a valuable resource for facilitating communication outside of school.

Additionally, we're aiming to create class-specific parent contact lists. This will make it easier for us to coordinate class-wide projects (like teacher gifts) and potentially organize outings.
If you have multiple children at Willett, please fill out the form once for each child. Don't forget to check the box if you're comfortable with your contact information being shared within the Willett Community. *No information will be shared without consent.

Have questions or need assistance? Feel free to reach out to us at willettptopres@gmail.com.
Thank you for helping us strengthen our community at Willett!
