April 2, 2026

Dear Willett Families,

📅 No School – Friday, April 3

Please note that there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday.

We hope all of our students, staff, and families enjoy a relaxing and meaningful long weekend! 🌷

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday ready for a great week ahead! 😊

📚 MCAS ELA Completed – Great Job! 🎉

Congratulations to our Grade 3 and Grade 4 students for successfully completing the ELA portion of the MCAS! We are proud of the focus, effort, and perseverance they demonstrated throughout the testing sessions.

We will be administering make-up sessions in the coming days for any students who were absent.

We will be conducting the Math portion of the MCAS in May, and we look forward to seeing our students continue to do their best.

A special thank you to all of our students and staff for their flexibility, support, and cooperation in helping create a positive and productive testing environment. Great work, everyone! 👏

Student Council Cereal Drive

We are excited to support Hebron Food Pantry through our Student Council Cereal Drive! 🥣📦

This meaningful initiative is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, give back, and make a positive impact on families in need.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us show what it means to be a caring and compassionate school community! 💙

💙 Raise Craze Update – Let’s Keep the Momentum Going! 💙

We are off to a great start with Raise Craze and are already seeing so much kindness throughout our school community!

So far, we have raised $2,925 and are 29% of the way to our $10,000 goal — thank you for your support!

As we head into the long weekend, we would love your help to keep the momentum going:

👉 Register your student if you haven’t already
 REGISTER: https://raisecraze.com/join CODE: 809-224
👉 Log Acts of Kindness (AOKs) your student has completed
👉 Share your student’s donation page with friends and family

Every student completed an Act of Kindness at school on Monday — it just needs to be checked off in their account to count toward our school goal of 1,550 AOKs and help their classroom move closer to earning their reward.

We currently have 59 AOKs logged, and we know we can grow that number quickly with your help!

Thank you for supporting this meaningful, kindness-focused fundraiser 💙

Night to Discover 2026

Willett was so excited to have three different groups show what they have been working on in the classroom this year at the annual district event "Night to Discover". Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Schiller worked together to solve everyday classroom problems using 3-D printing. Mrs. Gattoni and Mrs. Bombardier used an i-Ready “Math in Action” challenge to design a playground for only 20 people. Mrs. Jervis and Mrs. Ferney did a cross-grade collaboration with Title 1 and English Learner students where they learned about whale sounds, whale blubber, and created origami whales.

Thank you so much to the families who attended this event.  We loved having students who were excited to share their hard work!
