Dear Thacher Families,

We can't wait to see tonight's 4th-grade performance of "Carnival of the Animals!" If it's anything like their winter performance, it's going to be amazing. Good luck to all of our performers!

Mr. Rendell and Mr. Henry deserve a huge shout-out for organizing this morning's Walk to School Day! The rain passed through early enough that the weather ended up being perfect. We also want to thank our partners at the Attleboro Police Department for attending and giving out countless high-fives.

Boosterthon is coming....

25-26 Transportation Application is Open! All eligible students, including Kindergarten and First grade, who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application. The only exception to this is for those with specialized transportation needs listed in an IEP. New this year, payment will be due upon submission of the application. Families should refer to the email sent on April 4, 2025, or visit the APS Transportation website for details: https://www.attleboroschools.com/o/apswc/page/transportation

ST Math March Mathness Champions

On Friday, Mrs. Atkinson's class got a paw-some surprise during independent reading time—Macy joined them for some cozy reading fun! This special visit was a well-deserved reward for being Thacher's ST Math March Mathness Champions for 2025! With a tail wagging and pages turning, Macy helped celebrate all the hard work this class showed throughout the Math Challenge. Way to go—you earned it!

This Month in PE

P.E. activities:

Happy May!!!!! We have been enjoying the warmer temperatures with several outdoor physical activities planned. We finished up our annual nutrition unit and have moved onto Spring games! The first unit we are jumping into is T-Ball. Students are enjoying this approach to baseball/softball especially our little leaguers!

Walk 2 School Day:

Today (Friday May 2nd) was our annual Walk 2 School Day. Everyone truly enjoyed participating in this Spring time event. Whats better than getting a little walking time with friends prior to the start of school. A special thank you to our Attleboro Police Department! Our students were so excited to have so many officers cheering them on as they walked around our campus. TES ❤️ APD.

Congratulations to Katie Brillon and Rebecca Dumornay who were honored at Monday evening's School Committee meeting and will have their artwork on display at the Frances Zito School Committee Room for the remainder of the school year.
