Dear Thacher Families,
What a wonderful stretch of days it has been here at Thacher! Our school has been buzzing with energy, gratitude, and celebration, and I couldn't be more proud of the community we have built together.
We were absolutely delighted to mark National Therapy Dog Day with our students and staff. Seeing the joy and calm that our four-legged visitors bring to our hallways and classrooms is truly something special. These gentle companions remind us all of the importance of kindness, comfort, and connection — values we cherish deeply here at Thacher. A heartfelt THANK YOU to our generous community for your donations in support of this wonderful cause. Your giving spirit makes moments like these possible, and we are so grateful.
We also took time to honor the hardworking heroes who keep our students fueled and happy every single day — our incredible cafeteria staff — on Lunch Hero Day. If you haven't already, please join me in thanking the amazing people who show up with smiles and serve our kids with such care and dedication.
And of course, I have to mention that we also celebrated Principals Day here at Thacher. I am humbled and honored to lead such a warm, engaged, and supportive school community. Every day I walk through these doors, I am reminded of how lucky I am.
Thank you for being such an extraordinary part of the Thacher family. Here's to more milestones, more memories, and more moments worth celebrating together.
With gratitude,
Frank Rich, Principal |
