Dear Thacher Families,

Last week's A Night to Discover was a great success. Thacher was very well represented and our students and staff deserve a huge shout-out for showing off the great things going on at TES.

We also had a great day Rockin' our Socks celebrating World Down Syndrome Day. We have an amazing, inclusive community and we love seeing everyone come together to support each other!

Congratulations to Arabelle and Kenny who were the first two recipients for our PAWsitive office referrals for showing responsibility. Keep up the good work!!!

NUTRITION:    We have been working hard on our annual Nutrition unit.  Students have been learning about the various food groups and more importantly understanding how to sort various foods into those specific categories.  Our activities have included Grocery Store Mania and Hangry.  Both activities involve sorting the foods into their appropriate categories without being tagged by a Junk Food Junkie!    Fun Times!!

NIGHT 2 DISCOVER:  Our Studens did a phenomenal job representing Thacher at  Attleboro’s Night to Discover in the high school gymnasium. Students demonstrated and participated in a 9 Square in the Air activity.  I was so proud of their patience, kindness, and sportsmanship.   They represented Thacher amazingly!

• A resident of Attleboro on the day of the screening

• Three years of age by September 1, 2025

• If your child will be 5 by September 1, 2025, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten
