Principal's Message

Dear Families,

We hope this message finds you well as we head into this special week leading up to Thanksgiving. As we gather around tables with loved ones, we're reminded of how grateful we are for our incredible school community—our dedicated staff, engaged families, and wonderful students who bring energy and curiosity to our classrooms each day. Please note that there will be no newsletter next week due to the abbreviated schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday. We'll resume our regular communication the following week. In the meantime, we wish you and your families a restful break filled with warmth, good food, and cherished moments together.

Warm regards,

Frank Rich, Principal

Sarah Desautel, Asst. Principal

PAWSITIVE OFFICE REFERRALS

Elijah is always ready to learn for each lesson. He pays attention and is always setting a good example in class. He works hard to be respectful, responsible, safe, and ready to learn each day and I want him to know I am so proud of him!- Ms. Andrade

This Week in Physical Education

Hello TES Families,

This past month in PE we’ve been learning and practicing a variety of soccer skills, including dribbling with control, passing to a partner, trapping the ball, and using spatial awareness during play. Students had the chance to build these skills through small-sided games that kept everyone active, allowed for lots of touches on the ball, encouraged teamwork and good sportsmanship. These fun, fast paced activities help students grow in confidence while staying engaged and moving.

This week we are diving into our Turkey Stations, where students rotate through fun, themed activities that build movement skills, teamwork, and excitement. Each station has its own turkey twist. These include things such as turkey trots, feeding turkeys (throwing ball through a hanging hoop), knocking down gobbling turkeys (bowling) or coordination tasks and much more that keep everyone active and engaged.  It’s a festive, energetic way to celebrate the season while practicing important PE skills!

A friendly reminder:

With the cold and snowy months approaching, please remember that students need to have sneakers for PE class. Snow boots make it difficult and unsafe for students to participate in the many running, movement, and skill-based activities we do each day. Students are welcome to bring sneakers to school and change out of their boots before gym. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe, comfortable, and ready to move!

If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out at any time!
