Dear Fine Families,
What a wonderful week it has been celebrating Read Across America Week! Thank you to our families for your continued participation and support in helping us foster a love of reading. It was so much fun seeing students engaged in creative reading activities throughout the week. From themed days to special classroom moments, our school was filled with stories, imagination, and joyful learning.
Looking ahead, please remember that Friday, March 13th is a half day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:25 PM, and lunch will not be provided on half days. That same evening, our PTO will host the Someone Special Dance – An Evening of Enchantment, which is always a memorable event for our students and their special guests.
As a result of the snow days we have experienced so far this year, there has been an update to our end-of-year calendar. The last day of school for students in grades 1–4 will now be Friday, June 26th, and it will be an early release day with dismissal beginning at 12:25 PM. The last day for kindergarten students will be Friday, June 12th, and this will remain a full day of school for kindergarten students. Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Suzy Dalessio, Principal |

Did you hear? There where Leprechauns hiding around the school on Friday! |
|
|
These fun little Leprechauns pictured on the board were hidden around the building. Students enjoyed a scavenger hunt returning Leprechauns to the library. With a little luck, some prizes were earned for the retrieval of these fun staff Leprechauns! Our students love a great challenge! |

Do you know anyone with school age children ready for kindergarten for next year? Please spread the news that Kindergarten Registration is now open until May1. |
❄️☃️ Cold Weather Reminder |
We go outside every day that the “feels-like” temperature is above 25 degrees, so please be sure to send your student with warm winter coats, hats, gloves or mittens, and appropriate footwear each day. Layering helps in keeping our students comfortable throughout the day!
If your family needs help finding winter gear, just reach out. No one should be cold on our watch! |
A reminder to all families: Every school day matters for student success. While we recognize the value of family time, cultural experiences, and enrichment activities, families are reminded to consider the impact of missed class time. Vacation/extracurricular absences are unexcused and represent learning time that cannot be recovered.
If you have questions about attendance or need support, please reach out. We appreciate your partnership in your child's education. |
