Help Improve Pick-Up & Drop-Off!

We know that afternoons can be hectic, and we've noticed some safety concerns during family pick-up time, especially with car traffic and parking. We're forming a committee of staff, PTO members, and families to help improve the process for this fall. If you'd like to be part of the conversation and planning this summer, please sign up here: https://doodle.com/group-poll/participate/egMzNn3b

Summer Reading Packets

All K–3 students should have received their summer packets at school—thank you, Mrs. Sherman! Dr. Beth Dimond also handed them out to incoming kindergarteners who visited Bliss. Completed packets can be turned in at the Back to School Bash to Dr. Beth Dimond, and Mrs. Sherman will collect any turned in after school begins. In case you missed it, here is the link to the summer reading packets: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JNCKaTtZ8cCNyR78vieTqaoP8v4-i_2V/view?usp=sharing

DESE School Report Card

Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas. A link to our school’s report card is available at https://reportcards.doe.mass.edu/2023/00160045. This link will take you to copies of a letter in English, Arabic, Chinese, Hatian Creole, and Spanish explaining the School's report card.

If you have questions about our school’s report card please feel free to contact me, Dr. Paul Madden.

Medication for Next Year

Monday 6/9, I sent home the paperwork for next school year's medication with your student. Please check their back packs. In order for the paperwork to be valid for the next school year, please date everything after July 1st, especially doctor’s orders. You can drop off the medication and paperwork on the first day of school, Tuesday, Sept 2nd.  You can also drop it off during the back to school social on Wednesday, August 26th. I will also be putting in several ½ days the week before the start of school and can accept meds then. Please call or email me 1st to set up a good time to drop off meds before the start of school.

Excited to see how much your students change and grow over the summer - See you in August/ September!
