Dear Hill-Roberts Families,
Happy Father's Day!
As we wrap up the school year, there’s so much to celebrate and look back on! Last week’s Field Day and CREST Assembly were incredible highlights—a big thank you to our amazing PTO and to Mr. Sabatino and Ms. McKay, our PE and Health teachers, for organizing such a fun and well-run event. The energy, teamwork, and joy were truly special.
This week brings more excitement:
On Monday, we’ll celebrate Flag Day with a Spirit Day (wear red, white, and blue) and a Flag Day Assembly featuring student singing.
Thursday, there is no school in observance of Juneteenth.
Friday is our last day of school and will be an Early Release at 12:25 PM.
Also on Friday, we’ll proudly celebrate our 4th graders at the Grade 4 Move-Up Ceremony!
A reminder that transportation applications are due by June 20. All families must apply—even if your child rode the bus this year. After that deadline, seats are first come, first served and not guaranteed.
Let’s finish the year on a high note!
Best,
Dr. Paul Madden, Principal
Ms. Julie O’Boyle, Assistant Principal
Thank you to our PTO, family volunteers, and, of course, Ms. McKay and Mr. Sabatino for putting on an excellent, fun-filled, filed day! Pictures forthcoming!
This CREST Assembly's theme was CREST All Stars! These are students who, by the end of the year, embodied every aspect of CREST! We are so excited to celebrate them at our Golden Husky Principal breakfast on Monday!
Congratulations to Audreanna Anderson of Mrs. Young's class who is the third student this year and the fifth in Hill-Roberts' History to complete all 250 books required to complete our Reading Hat Program! Congratulations!
Reminder: Transportation Applications are due by the last day of school, June 20, 2025. Applications received after this date are processed on a first come/first serve basis and are not guaranteed a bus for the first day of school. All eligible students who wish to ride the bus must apply. Payment is due at the time of registration if fees apply. Application can be submitted via email or in-person. 100 years ago, students - just like you - from all across America donated money to save the USS Constitution from being demolished. 30 years ago, students in Boston donated pennies to restore the USS Constitution.
Now it’s your turn!
Our city is building a monument to the service members of Attleboro who have served - and are currently serving - in the Global War on Terrorism.
You can help make Attleboro history in two ways:
First … by donating to fund the construction.
Second … by attending the Grand Celebration when the monument is dedicated in Capron Park this Fall.
You may find more information on the monument at: www.attleborogwot.org.
Online donations can be accepted here:
Dear Hill-Roberts Families,
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas. A link to our school’s report card is available at https://reportcards.doe.mass.edu/2023/00160045. This link will take you to copies of a letter in English, Arabic, Chinese, Hatian Creole, and Spanish explaining the School's report card.
If you have questions about our school’s report card please feel free to contact me, Dr. Paul Madden.
Wishing everyone a lovely summer vacation!!!
4th Grade Parents - Check Email - 4th Grade Puberty Resource Letter
Please check the email you have on file with the school. All of the Elementary Nurses have sent out our 4th grade puberty resource letter. It includes links to age appropriate videos for girls and boys as well as trusted websites and written material. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
EOY Medication Pick Up
If your student has any medication in school, epi-pens, inhalers, daily meds ect., you may pick up the medication on the last day of school or on the following Monday 6/23 (If I don’t have Jury Duty) or Tuesday 6/24 if I end up having to go in for Jury Duty. Please call before coming as I won’t find out about having to serve until Sunday night/ Monday morning. I would hate to have you waste your trip.
4th grade students will be given their emergency epi-pen or inhaler on the last day of school, daily meds will need to be picked up by an adult. Please let me know if they will not be here on the last Friday 6/20.
Medication for Next Year
Monday 6/9, I sent home the paperwork for next school year's medication with your student. Please check their back packs. In order for the paperwork to be valid for the next school year, please date everything after July 1st, especially doctor’s orders. You can drop off the medication and paperwork on the first day of school, Tuesday, Sept 2nd. You can also drop it off during the back to school social on Wednesday, August 26th. I will also be putting in several ½ days the week before the start of school and can accept meds then. Please call or email me 1st to set up a good time to drop off meds before the start of school.
Excited to see how much your students change and grow over the summer - See you in August/ September!

Please avoid dismissing your students after 3pm. While sometimes this is unavoidable, we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring our attention is focused on safely and efficiently dismissing our 425 plus students. Thank you!
Please keep the area below (note: yellow tape and signage) clear for our busses. This is critical for allowing safe passage of busses. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
