Dear Families,

This Thursday was an exciting one! Picture day and a Community Potluck! Beyond looking sharp for their photos, the photographers had high praise for our students, saying they are so "disciplined and so well mannered"! We are so proud of our students - they really showed CREST (Caring, Respect, Excellence, and Trust)!

Our Community Potluck Thursday night was also a huge success! The cafeteria was packed with good food, great people, and lots of smiles!

Next Thursday is our biggest Fundraise of the Year! The Race for Ed! There is still time to donate! Thank you for your support of our school improvement efforts and field trips!

Please check out the reminder about Spirit Day on 10/31, Parking updates for November, Library and Historical society reading programs, and several important PTO updates.

Sincerely,

Dr. Paul Madden, Principal

Ms. Julie O'Boyle, Assistant Principal

Coming Soon! Attleboro Public Library - Community Read Passport

Attleboro Community Read Passport

Be on the lookout for the Attleboro Public Library Community Read Passport coming home in your child’s backpack. Students can use these passports to collect stamps at the various community reading events held throughout the school year. Once the passports are filled, they can bring them to school or to the public library to receive special recognition at the summer reading kick-off in June.  All events will be listed on the calendar at attleborolibrary.org. The first event is on Monday, Oct 28 @6:30 pm.

Pick-Up, Parking Update - November 1 Change

For families who drop off/pick up, starting in November, there will be an update to our parking policy on Roy Ave. In anticipation of winter weather, bus safety, and emerging safety concerns for walkers crossing the street, families will not be allowed to park beyond the entrance of the drop off/pick up (side) parking lot starting November 1. This will mean that families will either need to park further down Roy Ave. This will also be announced to families next week during walker pick up in the afternoon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in advance.

Reminder: Spirit Day on 10/31/2023

For our Spirit Day on 10/31/2023 your students are invited to celebrate by wearing any of the following:

  • Husky Gear

  • Fall-themed colors

  • Dress up as their favorite book

  • Wear a costume, but your student:
