Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

We’ve made it to our first long weekend—and what a wonderful first six weeks it’s been! This early part of the school year is all about building strong routines, relationships, and expectations, and our students have truly risen to the occasion. Thank you for your partnership in helping us start the year off so positively!

As we head into the next stretch before Thanksgiving, we’re excited to keep that momentum going. This week brings several fun events: Picture Day on Thursday, Bingo for Books on Friday (which also kicks off our Book Fair next week!), and details about our Race for Education Fundraiser in the PTO section below.

We’re looking forward to another great week of learning and community!

Sincerely,
Dr. Paul Madden, Principal
Ms. Julie O’Boyle, Assistant Principal

Attleboro READS! Passport and Attleboro Public Library Reading Events

Attleboro Reads

Be on the lookout for the Attleboro Public Library Community Read Passport coming home in your child’s backpack. Students can use these passports to collect stamps at the various community reading events held throughout the school year. Once the passports are filled, they can bring them to school or to the public library to receive special recognition at the summer reading kick-off in June.  All events will be listed on the calendar at attleborolibrary.org. The first event is on Monday, Oct 20 @6:30 pm at the Attleboro Public Library.

Wear Your Race for Ed T-Shirts on 10/31/2025

On 10/31 we will be hosting our annual PTO fundraiser, Race for Ed. Students will be provided with a free t-shirt to wear and they will have the option to wear it to school or put it on at school on Friday, 10/31.

Students will be walking around as part of Race for Ed, but we will not be doing a costume parade. Please keep costumes, costume props, and/or make-up at home. If you have any questions, please feel to reach out to us.

Delayed: New Drop-Off and Pick-Up Routine in October

We are still working on the new drop-off and pick up routine. We were asked to consider a few additional items by the city and the bus company. As always, we are committed to doing our due diligence and would rather roll out a new plan later, but more carefully. After all, safety is our main goal :). Thank you for your continued patience.
