No School on Monday!
Super Friends Image

Dear ELC Families,

We loved seeing all the families who came to Welcome Back Night last night and the siblings who stopped by the ELC! It was such a great opportunity to connect with other students in class that you may have heard about at home.

Next up, we’re looking forward to Harvest Fest on Friday, the 17th, from 5:30–7:30 p.m., and school pictures on the 30th. Fliers will be going home next week with more details. You’ll be able to pay online or send the envelope back in—whatever works best for you!

We hope you all take some time this long, fall weekend to rest, relax, and for those who need it—feel better soon!

Warmly,

Frank Rich, Principal

Meghan Thomson, Assistant Principal

State Mandated Screenings

All health screenings conducted in school are required by Massachusetts State Law. Screenings are ongoing throughout the school year. If you do not wish your child to participate, you must write a letter to the school nurse declining your child’s participation. This letter must be written each year and be specific to which screenings you do not wish your child to participate in.

Vision (grades 1-4), hearing (grades K-3) and height & weight (grades 1& 4) screenings have begun and will continue through October.

Vision Screenings:  PREK and Kindergarten SPOT vision screening with Lion's Club will take place on October 14th & 15th

Families are notified of any concerns and referred for evaluation as necessary.
