The student's at the ELC had "snow" much fun with our annual sensory experience of "ice skating." This is the time of the year that they remember well into high school. Even if they didn't want to put their feet on the shaving cream, the staff made sure to offer the experience by using their hands in the shaving cream. Sensory play works on fine motor skills, social-emotional skills, language development, as a calming tool, and a tool that encompasses the 5 senses.
